Rebates

SOCAL WATER $MART PROGRAM - RESIDENTIAL REBATES

Residential water use is the largest contributor to California's urban water consumption with more than 2.2 trillion gallons of water per year.

On average, a single family home in the United States uses 171 gallons of water per person, per day. Over one-third of that water is used indoors for laundry, showers/baths, toilets, sinks, washing dishes, etc. About two-thirds or more of that total daily water use is used for irrigation outside of the house.

High-efficiency appliances and devices can help you save water in a big way!

The Upper District offers residential rebates for retrofitting a variety of high water-use fixtures/equipment with water efficient devices. To apply, visit www.socalwatersmart.com.

Rebates are currently offered on the following items:

• Weather Based Irrigation Controller (WBIC)
• Rotating Nozzles
• Turf removal.
